Martha Sakellariou uses interdisciplinary, collaborative and public engagement practices to create site-specific multimedia installations, performances, and interventions. Her Self-Portrait as Athena is part of THE GOLDEN HOMES project launched by the artist in 2019 in Greece, as a series of photo-based and improv performance acts that focus on the idea of home, transition, memory and loss.
